The rounded body of the plate having broad base and shallow scalloped rim. The central interior is decorated in cobalt blue underglazed hand painting of Kirin, with head turned toward right shoulder facing west, standing fiercely between three seasonal trees, surrounded with array of floral motifs. The underside left unglazed creme-brownish in the firing with dark spots.
