Title: Lot of 2 Woodblock Prints Japanese Ukiyo-e Warriors Samurai
Description: This is a lot of two Japanese woodblock prints or ukiyo-e. The two prints are likely prints of actors playing a role or images of historical or mythological figures. One print has one man dressed for cold weather, snow falling around him, as he brandishes a bamboo stalk. The other print shows two men, one holding a sword and the other holding a yari, posed to fight.

Circa: 1850s
Dimensions: Print of 2 men- paper 14.5x9.875 inches, Image 14x9.375 inches. Print of 1 man- paper 14.25x9.5 inches, Image 14.125x9.25 inches.
Condition: Both prints show some light toning to paper, although the inks are very vivid and bright. Some wear on outer edges, two very small pinholes, and light creasing. No rips, foxing, or insect damage!
Provenance: From the estate of a local retiree, whose grandfather collected Ukiyo-e prints throughout the 1930s.
