Description
This is a very rare find, and possibly excavated old Stone Passport mask from the Loma peoples, part of the Mande ethnic group, Liberia and beyond. The mask has an undeniable archaic aesthetic, and wonderful well worn surface patina. The mask measures 5 inches tall ( 7 inches on base) This mask was field collected by Charles D. Miller III, NY in the 1960's.
