Roman Britain, ca. 1st century AD. Charming pocket knife handle in the form of a squirrel, the fur indicated by incised lines, the copper eye likely serving as the pivot pin for the now-missing blade. Remnants of the iron blade can be seen within the hollow handle. Custom stand.
