NORWEGIAN STERLING SILVER AND OTHER OPEN SALTS AND SALT SPOONS, LOT OF EIGHT, each open salt being Viking ship form, comprising an 0.830 silver without enameling by Brodrene Lohne of Bergen with an 0.830 silver salt spoon featuring Viking ship tip, five enameled open salts including a pair of blue and red enameled examples by Hans Myhre of Oslo, and a red enameled salt spoon. Light blue enameled open salt unmarked with unknown silver fineness/metal content, remainder with silver fineness marks, some with maker's marks. Total weight including non-silver components and unmarked salt: 5.390 ozt. 20th century. Lohne open salt 2" HOA, 3 1/4" LOA.
Very good overall condition with minor wear and surface scratches, some losses to gold-washed finishes, some with one or a few flakes to enamel; Lohne example with slight bending to rim.
