NORWEGIAN PLIQUE-A-JOUR ENAMELED SILVER OPEN SALTS, LOT OF THREE, each having Viking ship form, comprising two pieces by Marius Hammer of Bergen with all-over enameling featuring a 0.930 silver round-form example with double horse heads and a 0.950 silver example with dragon head, and a solid sterling example with plique-a-jour enameled rim and double dragon heads by David-Andersen of Oslo. Each with silver fineness and maker's marks. Total weight including non-silver components: 2.280 ozt. Late 19th/first quarter 20th century. Double horse head example 2" HOA, 3 1/2" LOA.
Good to very good overall condition with minor wear and surface scratches, enamel with some minor to moderate imperfections including hairlines/cracks, bruises, and flakes; Hammer example with dragon head having loss of foot, and a few losses to enameling.
