A mid 19th century American banjo clock marked "Martin Kingsbury, Dedham, Mass, No. 8" on the movement. 8-day time only movement with painted iron dial and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with a Brass spire finial over a molded Brass dial door, tapered throat panel with reverse painted glass flanked by shaped Brass side arms, lower door with a reverse painted "Aurora" glass. Older finish with some wear, touchups to dial, restored glasses, running when cataloged. 33 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $2,000-3,000
