Title attributed from Gignoux's own notebook where he recorded all of his works and sales -- this one with his inventory number 282 on the reverse. Image shows a solitary figure on a bridge overlooking a raging river downstream from Niagara Falls. Provenance: From the estate of Arthur B. de Saint Maurice, the great-grandson of Regis Gignoux.
