Title attributed from Gignoux's own notebook where he recorded all of his works and sales -- this one with his inventory number 125 on the reverse. Lake George is a narrow lake in the Adirondack Mountains between the Hudson and St. Lawrence Rivers. Provenance: From the estate of Arthur B. de Saint Maurice, the great-grandson of Regis Gignoux.
