Description
Two Chinese Blue and White Porcelains. The moon flask rising from a splayed foot to a short waisted neck and 'garlic' mouth applied with a pair of loop handles terminating in ruyi heads, the body decorated to each main side with a hexagram containing a lotus sprig, amidst foliate scrolls; and the 'hu' form vase raised on a rectangular splayed foot, the neck flanked by two square tubular handles, the body embellished with foliate meanders issuing lotus blooms, the mouth and foot with a cresting wave pattern, the recessed base inscribed with a six-character apocryphal Qianlong mark. {Height of the vase: 12 1/4 inches (31.1 cm)}. Condition: The hu form vase with a tiny chip to the foot ring.
