Sammy Davis Jr. Autographed Card W/Photograph & COA (Museum Exhibited) - This 3.5" x 5.25" card is boldly signed in gold by iconic American entertainer and "Rat Pack" member, Sammy Davis Jr. According to our seller, the card was signed by Davis in person while he visiting his Beverly Hills home in 1984. The piece was exhibited at the Elvis & Rock N' Roll Museum in Denmark, and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The lot also includes a 5" x 7" photograph of Davis signing an item for our seller on that 1984 day. Sammy Davis Jr. was an American entertainer. He was primarily a dancer and singer, but also worked as an actor of stage and screen, comedian, musician, and impressionist. Davis became an overnight sensation after a nightclub performance after the 1951 Academy Awards. He starred in films like Ocean's 11, starred on Broadway, and even had his own TV variety show, The Sammy Davis Jr. Show. He has won the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and an Emmy Award, and was nominated for many others. He earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1960, and in 2017 he was inducted into the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame for being "the Greatest Entertainer in the World" according to the founder of the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame, Lamont "ShowBoat" Robinson.
