Description
BRASS AND STEEL SPRING-LOADED SURGICAL BLEEDERS / LANCETS, LOT OF FIVE, each with steel release bar, one example with a small area of hand engraved decoration. Each fitted in original leather- or paper-covered wooden dome-top case, including one example with handwritten "Spring Lance" and another example with impressed "Traunichtesbeit". 19th century. 1 3/8" x 2 3/4" and 1 1/2" to 3 3/4" cases.
Very good overall condition with expected usage wear, blade edges with roughness and some light rust, cases with moderate wear losses to the coverings, one example with a broken spring bar.
