Description
Here is a collection in honor of George H. Morgan (1917-2008). Mr. Morgan worked in the Civilian conservation Corps in the 1930s and joined the Army in 1941. He was a decorated war veteran with many war medals and citations including FIVE Purple Hearts and a distinguished service cross. Following his discharge as a 1st Lieutenant, he worked for New York State for 33 years. He was an avid gardener and member of the American Legion. Lot consists of: French Croix De Guerre Medal - WWII, US Army Purple Heart and a US Army Distinguished Cross award. As well as his American Legion "Life Member" patches and AL ribbons with years of service from 1956 - 1968. Measures 13in wide x 12in high.Â
