Description
2 Chinese 18 Century Export Porcelain Mugs; the first in blue & white with a scene of Figures in Pavilions and Lakes, Fitzhugh borders, a flat base and double strap handles with foliage ends. The second a barrel shaped mug with flat bottom and the sides with Mandarin Figures in a Garden with Famille Rose coloring on underglaze blue details and borders, with basket weave ground in iron red and gold. Height of the larger 5 1/4 inches (13.3 cm.).
Condition
Light age related wear to each, the larger Mug with minor kiln firing cracks, the barrel Mug with light wear to enamels and gold highlights, with glaze lines around base and handle-attachment not visible inside.
