Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Jar and Cup with Wooden Bases. The ovoid jar decorated with double phoenix amongst lingzhi-shaped clouds, the recessed base with two concentric circles, the mouth left unglazed and missing a cover; and the cup with deep flaring sides rising to a flared mouth and embellished with a scholar and attendant in a mountainous landscape. {Height of the jar: 5 1/2 inches (14 cm)}. Condition: The jar with chips and cracks to the mouth rim. The cup with tiny chips to the mouth rim and foot ring. One wooden base with a loss.
