Description
North America, Mexico, ca. early 20th century CE. A leather ammunition belt known as a bandolier with 46 thick leather loops sewn across the exterior that were used to hold individual rounds of ammunition. The sturdy accessory has a brass buckle and pin on one end, and the opposite end is pierced several times to adjust with the size of the wearer. Larger bandoliers were typically worn around one shoulder, though the form of this example suggests it was worn around one's waist. Size: 43.9" L x 2.875" W (111.5 cm x 7.3 cm)
