This Kozak village rug displays a rare design of six vertical bands in which box shapes topped with an arrowhead are lined up in rows and interlocked by double hooks. The weaver has added three small muska symbols in the upper red kilim finish. – Signs of age and wear, low spots in the pile, original finishes all around.
