Four hand-carved wood plaque sculpted busts, each carving identified with attached metal plaques.
Represented: CRO-MAGNON, NEANDERTHAL, PITHECANTHROPUS, AUSTRALOPITHECUS.
Circa 1930s.
Dimensions: Wood plaque: 10 1/2 in. x 12 3/4 in., busts: vary between: 8 in. x 8 1/2 in. > 6 1/2 in. x 10 in.
Condition: good original vintage estate condition, no repairs noted.
Provenance: Michigan estate, originally acquired from a museum deaccession exhibit in Michigan
