ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC PAIR OF FIGURES, each having floral bocage to back with figure sitting cross-legged, holding a floral basket to side, and wearing a brightly colored toga, one with flower crown, decorated in the round. Open-bottomed. Impressed marks to underside include "13" and "14". Possibly Enoch Wood, Burslem, England. First quarter 19th century. 3 3/4" HOA.
Excellent visual condition, each having some professional restoration including bocage and paint touch-ups, one with some losses to applied floral decorations on grassy base.
