EIGHT GEORGE III STYLE MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRS, ENGLISH, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the set comprising two armchairs and six side chairs, the serpentine arched crest rail with carved acanthus foliage, over a pierced splat with descending bellflowers and rocaille scrolls, flanked by molded stiles, above trapezoidal upholstered removable seats, over a plain rail, raised on cabriole legs with foliate carved knees and ball and claw feet. There are a few minor scratches and scuffs as well as a few marks of paint that have been rubbed on to areas. There are some splits in the back splats.
