Commemorates astronauts Frank Borman (American, born 1928), Jim Lovell (American, born 1928), and Bill Anders (American, born 1933), and the Apollo 8 mission, in December 1968, the first crewed spacecraft to leave low Earth orbit and the first to reach the Moon, orbit it, and return.
