A lovely floral study in gouache on paper, depicting a large tulip with three red flowers and butterflies flying around it, surrounded by a gold on coral pink floral border lined with minor borders and set in a gold and ivory double mat and an attractive, intricately carved, gold-tone frame. This piece has not been examined outside the frame. Appears to have minor warping and staining to paper and light fading to pigments, otherwise intact and very good. Nice coloration throughout. Back of frame has minor indentations and staining.
