AN AMERICAN GLASS AND SILVER PLATE TWO BOTTLE LIQUOR TANTALUS, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, the silver plate frame of exposed rod construction with pressed rope form bands with alternating egg and leaf decoration at top and bottom, double swing arms, one with looped handle and center hole for lock, the whole raised on four ball feet, fitted with two later molded glass decanters with diamond decoration and square stoppers, with base metal tags, one inscribed RYE, the other SCOTCH. Height: 12 3/4" Width: 9 1/2" Depth: 4 1/4"
