A Federal inlaid cherrywood tall case clock Charles Cooper (1779-1832), Lebanon, PA, early 19th century Enameled metal face inscribed, "Charles Cooper/ Lebanon".H: 98 in.
Condition
Overall in good overall condition; includes pendulum, two weights, winding key, case key, three finials; two moldings on upper side of case reattached; loss and repair to inlay along top inlaid border; cracker to upper left of case door; some splitting and patch to upper base molding; split to side of base, with losses and fill to inlay; hood door missing a screw to bottom hinge, so door is lightly loose; enameled face with cracquelure commensurate with age, but no signs of retouching; the back panel for hood has become detached; as with all mechanical objects, Freeman's does not guarantee mechanical functionality.
