In 2018, NY Times art critic Roberta Smith reviews Grgich's art where "faces are the primary subject; the main look is updated, slightly raunchy Byzantine.
After enduring a series of back surgeries, Grgich's "Corseticus" is reflective of physical trauma much like Frida Kahlo who must have been an influence.
Since 1987 Grgich has been in the Seattle area, extensively exhibiting her art in the Pacific Northwest and throughout the United States.Grgich is also a teacher, sharing her specific collage and layering through art classes.
