Oil on canvas, The portrait identified by frame tag as Anne Hutchinson Heberton most likely of Philadelphia in exceptional period gilt carved frame. Ann Hutchinson was born 1789 and died 1848, daughter of Mahlon Hutchinson and Sarah (Palmer) Hutchinson.
She married Dr.John Craig Heberton (1790-1829.)[Date unknown but in the early 1820s]
They are buried in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Ann Hutchinson Heberton was descended through her mother's line [Sarah Palmer, a Quaker] back to John Palmer (1655-1726), himself a Quaker, who arrived in Pennsylvania from England in 1683. He was part of William Penn's Pennsylvania Settlers community. Sight 30" x 24 3/4" Frame 39" x 34"
