To the left is a Story teller monkey, he was originally a finger puppet. In the middle is an actual monkey, no regalia or pose, who was a face-out on a ceramic bowl. On the right is a noble shaman embodying a monkey, he still wears his elaborate ear spools and cape, and was also a face-out on a vessel.
