ACOMA POLYCHROME RED ZIGZAG OLLA by KAREN CHINO, ca. 1990 Condition: Excellent Mark: "Acoma, NM K.C." (K.C. is Karen's mark.) Description: The pot is dominated by a 5/8" bold dark orange zig-zag band, with four peaks and valleys: WW. The infill consists of black split kite-shapes on white. Traditional paint and slip-on hand-coiled, finely built, shard-tempered, gray-white clay. Note: Karen Chino was born in 1969. She is the daughter of Emma Charlie Chino and Patrick Chino. His mother was Marie Z. Chino, who taught Karen to pot. Purchased at Wahleah's Gift Shop in the Taos Pueblo. 8.5"d x 7"h.

We deliver most larger pieces ourselves on the west coast and we make a loop around the US within 60 days after the auction. No matter where you live in the lower 48 states, we look forward to personally meeting you and delivering larger pieces directly to your house.
