Document relating to the Zavata agreements signed on December 23, 1832 by Antonio López de Santa Anna, Anastasio Bustamante, and Manuel Gómez Pedraza at the Hacienda de San José de Zavaleta in the suburbs of the city of Puebla. With the signing of this peace agreement, the revolution that had begun in January of the same year against the centralist regime ended. With the signing of the agreements, it was agreed that Manuel Gómez Pedraza would assume the presidency of the United Mexican States, in this way the constitutional order was returned. Signed in type by [Juan Pablo] Anaya; dated in manuscript in Bexar, March 28, 1833, signed by Ramón Muzquiz, then governor of Coahuila y Texas, and sent to the Alcalde of Goliad.
