The History of Lewis and Clark by Elliot Coues in four volumes. 1893. Francis P. Harper, New York. Numbered '323' of 1000 copies. Facsimile illustrations. 1364 pp. plus three fold-outs tucked into jacket sleeve and five full page maps in volume IV. Volume II is cracked at hinges and III is cracked at hinges and spine cover is lifted. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Group measures 9.625 in. x 6.25 in. x 6 in. From a non-smoking home and free of any odors. Provenance: Bob Borcherdt collection. If lot is absent of a condition report a condition report may be requested via email.
