Item Details

Description

Highly unusual and exceptionally well made woven leather basket by San Francisco artist and former White House art restorer Joel Hoyer. The basket is formed of a matrix of intricately woven leather strips which are then lacquered over with an unknown substance. The leather strips and braided at the top and terminate with beaded tassels. Approximately 7 x 4 in.
