Description
The picture was produced in the 1930s by Zakłady Artystyczne Kultura in Włocławek. The manufacturer's stamp is on the reverse. The picture shows the Polish sailing ship Dar Pomorza against the background of the eagle, the emblem of Poland. A painting in a wooden frame with dimensions of 36 x 32 cm. The picture probably hung in the police station in Warsaw. After the occupation of Warsaw by the Germans, the police station remained in the same building. Thus, the picture became the property of the new hosts, who made an inventory and stamped in German with the following: GEHEIME STAATSPOLIZEI DISTRIKT WARSCHAU.***THIS ITEM SHIPS FROM OUR EUROPE OFFICE***
