All-African Americana silent western movie produced by Lawrence Goldman about Robert Mason, a newspaper reporter played by Calvin Nicholson, who escaped from prison after being wrongfully convicted for the murder of Mark Leithier, a well-known labor leader played by Henry Dixon. In the film the protagonist falls in love with a cowgirl played by Dorothy Dunbar, but the antagonist outlaw, Buck Conley (played by Talford White), a.k.a. the "Night Terror" also has eyes for Dunbar's character, Tex Miller. When Conley learns Mason is an escaped convict on the run under a false identity, "something big and entirely unexpected happens", according to one Billboard review, that brings the lovers together in a happy ending. The film premiered in Kansas City, MO in 1924 but now appears to be lost from film history, probably due billing, a rare piece of African American film history. Fullly Linen mounted and excellent.
