A Large & Rare Chinese Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Jar with Oxford TL Test. This wide-bodied jar has been expertly decorated in a variety of cold-painted pigments. Geometric and swirling cloud patterns surround the base and shoulder whereas the body is superbly decorated with a variety of animated animals, some anthropomorphized. Height 28cm. With Thermoluminescence Analysis Report from Oxford Authentication from 2007. Han Dynasty (206 BC – AD 220).
