second quarter 19th century, depicting peddlers carrying market baskets, raised on pierced bases, each signed "J.P." on the bottom in underglaze blue.
h. 9-1/2", w. 4", d. 4"

Provenance: The Estate of Frank Fasullo, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Condition

**The male figure with restoration to the upper portion of the basket, neck of the bottle, left hand, neck and the top front portion of the base. Both figures with minor losses to the flowers and rubbing to the gilt. The baskets originally fitted with covers.
