second quarter 19th century, French, each decorated with swags of encrusted flowers, the ground with raised gilt flowers, the vase molded with medallions and scrollwork, signed "J.P." on the bottom in underglaze blue.

Condition
**On one example, the scalloped shell on the base has been repaired. On the other, there is a professional repair to the rim with corresponding overglazing and regilding, and part of the scalloped shell on the base is lacking. Both examples exhibit wear/rubbing to their gilding, notably the horns. In otherwise good estate condition.
