15th-16th century AD. A lead-alloy pilgrim's ampulla formed as a scrotum with bulb feet and lateral loop, billeted collar and drum-shaped cap with winged mask of Cupid. 27.5 grams, 64mm (2 1/2"). From the property of a Cambridgeshire gentleman; formerly in a collection formed prior to 2000. [No Reserve]
