Description
Tibetan bronze figure of Shyama or "Dark Green" Tara, the Mother of all Buddhas, Tsang district, c.12th century or later, with later "cold gold" paint, 13 x 5 x 2.25 inches, weight 1300 grams. Goddess framed by pointed aureole, with curved body, three pointed crown, beads and jewelry, with recent custom base. Himalayan Art Resources item no. 90568.
Condition
Good condition, fracture to aureole near figure's left elbow, likely missing two original stabilizing connecters at reverse, breakage and loss to the bottom surround, small crack in left leg. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
