Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 4th century CE. A fine gathering of three Roman artifacts. First is an intricate fragment from a redware pottery oil lamp depicting a trio of left-facing male heads with stern gazes and bushy beards. Second is a free-blown glass unguentarium with a piriform body, a slender neck, and a flared rim with an in-folded lip. The largest item is a free-blown candlestick unguentarium with a bell-shaped body, a narrow neck surmounted with an in-folded lip, and solidified remains of its original contents inside. Lucite display stand for photography purposes only. Size of largest (candlestick unguentarium): 1.4" W x 4.2" H (3.6 cm x 10.7 cm)

Condition
Redware pottery item is a fragment from a larger oil lamp. Small nicks to peripheries of redware fragment. Chips to rim of shorter unguentarium. Larger unguentarium is intact and very good. Light earthen deposits throughout.
