"The Pacific or South Sea" is labeled in large letters on the lower left while some of the islands of the Caribbean - notably Cuba and Jamaica - occupy the upper right. Mexico, what would become Central America, and the northern tip of South America are all visible and neatly labeled. At the far upper right is a page number, "Pag. 52, 1st Book". This is a page cut from a book. It has a few fold marks, a single modern ink mark on the extreme upper right, and very light staining but overall is in beautiful condition with all words very readable and the colors nicely preserved.
