VICTORIAN CAST-METAL AND MARBLE KEROSENE BANQUET LAMP, opaque white ball shade with polychrome-enamel floral decoration with a period heat ring, openwork floral scrolling with four faces of Victorian women, classical marble columnar stem, circular cast-metal base with four feet, fitted with a period Consolidated brass drop-in font having a stamped shoulder. Fitted with a period burner and flame spreader, colorless slip chimney. Maker unverified. Late 19th/early 20th century.
Nearly undamaged with the font tank having a minor dent to the base, a couple of splits to the burner, central-tube cut short; chimney having a sliver chip to the fitter.
