VICTORIAN MIXED-METAL KEROSENE BANQUET LAMP, opal decorated ball shade with shaded yellow and brown ground with polychrome floral decoration, stamped brass Gothic latticed font vase, raised on a conical brass standard with upper cast-metal connector, large mixed-metal square foot featuring mythical lion feet, brass drop-in font. Fitted with a period burner. Electrified. Maker unverified. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 28 7/8" H to top of shade, 19 3/4" H to top of shade ring, 6" SQ foot. Shade: 9 1/4" H, 4" D fitter.

Condition
Shade in excellent condition with some expected flaking/roughness to the fitter and some light wear; font tank having denting and splitting to the body, solder repair near the collar, burner lacking top separator and having denting and sharp edges to the sides with solder remaining; lamp base having areas of surface scratching, some minor denting; some additional imperfections due to the electrification process.
