Originally addressed by hand to "Mr. Arthur B. Tuttle / Salem Center, NY" with a canceled 3 cent stamp. Height inside mailing sleeve 4 3/4 inches (12 cm.) X width 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm.). NOTE: Tiffany & Co at the time of this book was located at Fifth Avenue and 37th Street, describe themselves as "Diamond and Gem Merchants, Goldsmiths, Silversmiths, Stationers and Dealers in Artistic Merchandise," the book gives the History & Fame of the Company, their merchandise and services offered on their 9 floors including Lorgnons and Lorgnon Chains with Diamonds, Toilet Articles in Gold, Library Requisites, desk, yacht and carriage clocks, Safety Deposit Vault in the sub-basement, heraldic engraving on the 4th Floor, Antique English to rare French Silver, Tiffany Lamps and Favrille Table Glass, Repairs of Jewelry, Clocks, Lace, Fans, etc with a staff of Clock Winders available by the year in the City or Suburbs of New York; and continuing for 598 pages. Good condition with very little wear, the book with natural oil marks to edges of inside papers, the cardboard mailing sleeve with light wear.
