A Chinese archaic bronze ritual vessel and associated cover, DouWarring states periodOf compressed globular form, raised on flared foot, two loop handles at the side, the low domed cover with wide flange finial, the base and cover cast with rows of fine stylized scroll ornament, mottled red and grey-green patina.
