Traditional Pacific Northwest tribal weave with Tree of Life designs.
This small basket cup, woven entirely from tule reeds, is an exemplary specimen of traditional Native American weaving and design from the Klamath Tribes of the Pacific Northwest. Handmade c. 1890, with a stylized Tree of Life design to both sides and addition patterns below the rim.
