Description: Rare old Bicyclist occupational shaving mug. Name W.M. Ridgley. Rigley is now a leading brand of racing bicycles. Mug may be for somebody in business of bicycle manufacture, retailing, or racing and not just for somebody who liked to ride bicycles. Very well painted image around half the mug. Size measures 3 1/2" tall. Bottom of mug and 2 number imprint and decorator mark 1860. Minor flaw of hairline at top of handle. Some loss of gold gilding at base rim.
