Elvis Presley's (3) Personally Owned Books Given to Marty Lacker Featured in Graceland Auction W/(4) LOAs - These three hard cover books were personally owned by Elvis Presley before they were given to Memphis Mafia member, Marty Lacker. Elvis was an avid reader and had a vast book collection on a number of subjects including politics, religion, government and others with power and influence in the country. This collection of books includes: "The Vantage Point: Perspectives of the Presidency 1963-1969" by Lyndon Baines Johnson, "The Pentagon Papers: The Secret History of the Vietnam War" published by The New York Times with original dust jacket and "Harry S. Truman" by Margaret Truman with original dust jacket. The books were featured in the January 7th, 2017 Auction at Graceland (lot 41) and will be accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from Graceland Authenticated. The books will also each come with a typeset letter of provenance signed by Marty Lacker.
