Description
A Chinese watercolor and ink landscape painting on silk attributed to Zhang Ruocheng. The landscape depicts pagodas in the mountains and has 1 large Imperial seal. It is mounted on a silk backing with wooden dowels.
Dimensions are: 42 in. tall X 16 in. wide; 106.7 cm tall X 40.6 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The painting has creasing, staining, and the backing is broken.
Provenance: Acquired by a US military advisor in Taiwan in the 1950s.
