c1947 rppc CLEVELAND OH ARC WELDING AD, WISCONSIN FARMER RECYCLED CART INVENTION
Description:
Circa 1947 real photo postcard (rppc) depicting push-pull cart and design instructions. Advertising in card reads: Handy Pull-Push Cart Easily Made on Farm. Elgar Schroeder, Morrisonville, Wisconsin, believes farm handy gadgets can have an attractive appearance while saving work for their owner. His pull-push cart carries a good-sized load of tools, supplies or produce easily. The cart was made from a child's discarded coaster wagon, using the box and wheels . . . Courtesy The James F. Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio. On back is a canceled One Cent Washington Stamp (postmarked: October 10, 1947).
Condition: toning and soiling, occasional dings, scuffs, and edge bumps. Slight curve to postcard, with some edge wear and corner wear. Please see photos for additional condition review.
