Very elaborately painted all over, the large key fret border rectangular panels on the body depicting two varying scenes of an emperor with his army and his court. The yellow ground densely filled with lotus flowers, insects, phoenixes, bats, and citron fruit. The shoulder with moulded chilong and the neck with two moulded foo lions and a ball. The neck with two smaller key fret border panels also depicting similar scenes of an emperor. The flared mouth with foliate rim. H: 48 1/2in.
